BIOGRAPHIES

Austin Bustle, CMA; President

Currently works as Finance Manager & Controller at Amazon’s Whitestown, IN fulfillment center. Prior to joining Amazon, he worked at Cummins for 5 years in various finance roles, the last of which was Finance Manager, New Business Development where he was responsible for the financials of business development initiatives globally. Austin has a B.S. in Business from Indiana University and is also a Certified Management Accountant, (CMA).  He and his wife Jane reside in Zionsville, Indiana and enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors.

Monica Bolt – Vice President, Finance, Remy Power Products

Monica has 25 years of financial management experience in a manufacturing environment with 15 years in automotive including both OE and aftermarket. Her roles in Global Finance and Accounting have allowed her to lead teams in Mexico, Europe, China, Korea, Brazil and the US.  Her initial career focus was cost accounting and has since expanded to all areas of finance and accounting.  During her 11 years with Remy/Borg Warner, she has progress through a variety of roles increasing her responsibility with each advancement opportunity.  Monica earned her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University and her Master of Science degree in finance from Indiana University.  Monica’s career began at Warner Press, the publishing house for the Church of God, which produced a variety of products including Sunday school curriculum, church bulletins and greeting cards.   During her 4 years at Warner Press, she progressed from a role as a staff accountant to the finance lead for the retail division.  After Warner Press, Monica spent 4 years at Avis Industrial Corporation, a holding company for a variety of automotive and non-automotive manufacturing companies.  During her time with Avis, she was the Manager of Accounting Systems and held a variety of finance roles in small businesses that were owned by the founder and major shareholder of Avis.  She also gained experience in non-profit accounting as the Director of the Boren Foundation, a private foundation also created by the founder of Avis.  After Avis, Monica held cost accounting roles with GDX Automotive & Red Gold.  Before joining Remy/Borg Warner, she continued her work as a cost accounting manager at General Cable and was later promoted to the Finance Manager role.

Barbara Uggen-Davis, CPA, CFO at Elevate Ventures

Barbara Uggen-Davis, CPA is the Chief Financial Officer at Elevate Ventures, a 501(c)3 Venture Development Organization. Barbara has over 20 years of experience in operations management, accounting, and human resources for start-ups, small business, and non-profit. Barbara holds an MBA in Business Management and Business Information Systems from City University with President’s Honors for Meritorious Scholastic Achievement and holds a BA in Business Administration with an Accounting Concentration from the University of Washington.  She is an active community volunteer, serving as the Treasurer for Footlite Musicals, a 501(c)3 non-profit community theater in Indianapolis, and volunteers with the Salvation Army and Marion County Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT).  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travel, playing with her two dogs, and sitting in the front row for the abundance of great live theater in Indianapolis.

Victoria Smith, Treasurer

Currently works as a Finance Project Manager at the Department of Workforce Development, State of Indiana. Victoria has MS in Electronics Engineering from Russia and 17 years of financial analysis experience in
various telecoms, cable industry, manufacturing and public accounting. She has been an IMA member since 2002 and an active board member holding different positions such as VP of Education, President and Treasurer. Victoria has three children and lives in Noblesville, Indiana.

 

Omotara Adewakun – Director of CMA Programs

Currently works as a Senior Financial Analyst/Controller role at Siemens Healthineers located in Plainfield, Indiana. Omotara has BA in Economics, MA in Policy Analysis, is expected to graduate with an MBA from Drexel University Finance Executive program in March 2018 and has 11 years of financial analysis experience in various healthcare, food service, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals sales industry. Omotara recently joined IMA with membership in 2016 and took on board member role in the Indiana Chapter as the VP of CMA programs. Omotara has two children and lives in Indianapolis, Indiana.

 

Veronica Gabbard, CMA –Secretary

Veronica Gabbard is the CFO of HVAF of Indiana, Inc. (2015 – Present), a non-profit organization dedicated to serving homeless veterans.  Veronica has been with HVAF of Indiana, Inc. holding various positions since 2007.  She also performs contracted bookkeeping services for small businesses and other non-profits.   Veronica has an MBA-Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University, she’s been a member of the IMA since 2013 and successfully completed the CMA requirements as of May 2015.

 

Aaron S Liwanag -VP of Membership

Aaron Liwanag has more than five years of experience in the Finance/Accounting field and have been an IMA member since 2012. He is currently with Amazon Fulfillment Operations as Regional Finance, supporting the Midwest and Southern Fulfilment Centers for Amazon and is based out of Whitestown, IN.  Previously with Cummins Inc. based out of Columbus, IN, where he participated in a two-year Finance Development Program; Finance Lead for Research and Engineering for various Off-Highway Engine programs in US, UK and India;  as well as, Finance Manager (General Accounting) for the Seymour Engine Plant. Aaron graduated in 2012 with BS in Business with Accounting and Finance concentration from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
